Privacy Policy

Northport Concrete, northportconcretecompany.com, hello@northportconcretecompany.com
Who we are and what this policy covers
Northport Concrete is a concrete contractor in Northport, AL, and this policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do about it.
It covers every page on our site, starting from the home page, and the contact form you use to ask for an estimate. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, because they run under their own privacy policies.
Information you give us
Most of what we know about you is what you choose to tell us when you fill out our contact form, call us or email us. That usually means your name, phone number, email address, the address where the work would happen and a description of the job, such as a cracked driveway or a new patio.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it passes through that service before it reaches us. That service handles your information under its own privacy policy, and we only use it to receive your request.
You don't have to give us any of this to read our site. We just can't get back to you about an estimate without a way to reach you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, some information is collected on its own, the way it is on most websites. That can include the type of device and browser you use, the pages you look at, how long you stay and the general area you're browsing from, which is based on your internet connection and not your exact location.
We use analytics tools to see this information in summary form, so we can tell which pages people find useful and which ones need work. We look at it as totals and trends, not to follow one person around the site.
Our site and the tools on it can use cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can remember a visit or count traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading and for sending the contact form.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your question, set up an estimate, plan and do the work you hire us for and follow up on that job. If you call or write to us later about the same project, we may look back at what you sent so you don't have to explain it twice.
We use the automatic information to keep the site running, fix problems and make our pages clearer. We don't use your information to send you marketing you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent or trade it to anyone.
We share it only when the job or the law calls for it. That means the outside services that help us run the site and receive form requests, a supplier or crew member who needs your job address to do the work, or a government office if the law requires us to hand something over.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to answer you, finish your job and keep ordinary business records, such as estimates and invoices. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Analytics information is kept in summary form by the tools that collect it, under their own settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, and we'll do that unless we have to keep a record for legal or business reasons. Depending on the state you live in, you may have more rights under your state's privacy law, and we'll honor them.
You can also stop contacting us at any time, block cookies in your browser and ask us not to reach out again about an estimate you requested.
Children's information
Our site is meant for adults planning work on their home or property, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page so it always shows how we work now. Changes apply from the time they're posted here.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information or want to use any of the rights above, call us at (205) 756-6874 or send a message through our contact page. Tell us what you'd like us to do, and we'll answer within 1 business day.
You can read more about who we are and how we work on our About page.
